    Hoax is finally over

Remember those Russian bot companies that "interfered" with the U.S. elections? Remember when all the libs told us that Mueller had the goods on Trump and he was going to prosecute these horrible Russian companies? Yea, well they had to drop all the charges against them. So now there are ZERO people indicted for the Russian hoax that had anything to do with the 2016 election. ZERO.

You know, Vader, amidst all the panicked disorientation, we've got to trust our instruments: In addition to the Hoax, the Epstein and Weinstein sex trafficking ring has been busted and both dealt with in whatever form after they gave the goods and names to US intelligence. Mexico wants to close their border to US Citizens. 88% of Americans approve of the travel ban. The China and globalist problem has been laid bear so that, to quote Kipling, "the hearts of the meanest were humbled, and began to believe it was true," private industry and ingenuity have exposed the CDC Swamp and New Deal era bureaucracy, millionaire entitled athletes have been shut down and put in their proper place, people are for the first time in years giving consideration to the elderly, people are beginning to realize there are more important things in life than 401Ks and vacations, the children get a break from liberal indoctrination, people will have to get to know their neighbors and not rush on, and we could go on and on.

So, assuming this isn't God's Final Judgment on the age and it could very well be, it may be that society has been humbled for a better beginning in many ways once the dust clears.

You are of course 100% correct, Vader, but the disgusting fraudulent miscarriage of justice towards Flynn, Papodapolous, Stone, etc. continue. Nauseating. I hope Trump pardons them all.

I haven't been quoted Kipling in eons. Good to see someone actually reads inspired literature.

Maybe this could turn into a teachable moment for society as a whole. Maybe people will realize that Washington isn't working for the average person but for their own blood lust?

I believe he will. People should be in prison for spying on a presidential campaign and infiltrating it with no evidence of wrong doing.

The level of globalist implications in this latest scare is unreal. I'm anxious to see how we respond to this nonsense in the long run.

Agreed, and it takes systemic or existential shocks to shake people of their mass delusions. What did it take to break the Japanese fanaticism toward the Emperor for example and enable them to live and thrive in the world economy?

Think about this? The greatest existential threat to Europe and Italy by far is declining birth rates and Islamist colonization. The soul of Europe has been gravely ill for well over 100 years following the demographic decimation of WW1 in particular. Well, guess what? Now the borders are closed and young people are scared and cloistered together in confined spaces. Even Beaver Cleaver and the Church Lady know what comes next.and in 9 months if they don't abort 75% of the conceptions. It's entirely possible that people look back years from now and say the coronavirus saved Europe even if a few eggs had to be broken with accompanying hysterics.

Agreed. I pondered that a few days ago. Hopefully Europe and the rest of the world will see the dangers in globalism and turn from their wicked ways. If people like Soros, Bush, Obama, Sanders and Biden had their way there would be no borders and no hope.

It's unfortunate but when you mix those issues into a bucket, you're going to get incidents like this. -- Deljzc on French terrorist murders

Unfortunately I think the opposite will happen - I'm expecting the "need" for a global solution in the case of future pandemics will lead to a push for more power to be vested in the United Nations or possibly a new global body will be formed (as happened after WWII, when the League of Nations was replaced by the United Nations) with a much broader agenda.

Looking at the authoritarian and the economically and socially destructive nature of the global response to Covid-19, I'm wondering if we are at the end of the long term plan for the communist takeover that Dmitry Manuilsky (high ranking official in the Soviet Union and secretary of ComIntern) spoke of in the 1930's, and this is the Iron Fist coming down.

One definite possibility in terms of fallout from this ridiculous mess is that the U.S. economy will have no choice but to move toward socialism.

The sheer number of people on unemployment and welfare in the next few weeks will cripple our "normal" economic system. There won't be much choice but to dramatically increase taxes and dramatically bolster social services. Does anybody else see ANY other way to deal with the massive economic burden that's about to cripple our economy in ways we haven't even considered?

Someone on Capitol hill will turn this into a "virus new deal".....just wait. Looky, a new way to tax everyone.
